Lakers all-star forward LeBron James recently commented on an Instagram post saying that Steph Curry would be a great player in any NBA era. The question in the post said how good Steph Curry would be in the 90s. To which, LeBron posted, “Wouldn’t be Good, He’s be GREAT!!! Any ERA”. Both of them have had one of the greatest rivalries in NBA history.
Steph Curry has been one of the most transcendental NBA players of this generation. He has revolutionized the point guard position and made the point guard the focal point of the offence. Steph Curry with Klay Thompson created the ‘Splash Bros’ who changed the NBA offences functioned. Curry was the first and only unanimous MVP in the 2014-15 season and led the Warriors to the title for the first time since 1975 defeating LeBron and Cavaliers.
The very next season Curry led the Warriors to the greatest regular season record of 73-9. But in the finals, 3-1 up against the Cavaliers, LeBron and company came back all the way to win the series and the championship. This made the 2015-16 Cavaliers team the first team to come back from a 3-1 deficit in the final.
