Unquestionably, Roman Reigns is one of the greatest champions in WWE’s rich history. His charisma and vocal prowess were sufficient each week to pack arenas and sell out tickets. The Tribal Chief’s fan base rose weekly as he provided the WWE Universe with multiple moments that left them stunned and ecstatic. While many admirers discussed his temperament in general, many disagreed about the many interferences in his bouts.
People thought the Tribal Chief didn’t require assistance from his teammates. Nevertheless, since Roman’s Bloodline is currently the most talked-about subject in the WWE, the interferences were setting up a whole new narrative. When Cody Rhodes eventually wrapped up his story and won the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL, Roman’s terrifying reign came to an end.
Reigns did his job perfectly being the World Champion for 1,316 days giving countless over-the-top moments. In light of his recent setback, The Head of the Table seems eager to start over and ready for a new chapter in his career. As he closes this chapter in his professional wrestling career, his fans are excited to see when he makes his shocking return. Every week, fans chant “We want Roman” in the hope of a massive return from the former World champion.
The Tribal Chief was expected to make his next public appearance for the Triple H-led promotion on Friday Night SmackDown before SummerSlam 2024, according to advertisements made by the company. Reigns was one of the Superstars highlighted on the SmackDown episode poster, which sparked rumors that he will be returning before SummerSlam. But Roman Reigns was taken off of the poster recently by WWE.
While this move can be done to not spoil his return and give fans a surprise, however, it can mean something more exciting for the fans. The Stamford-based promotion might be looking for the perfect opportunity to set up a plan that does not involve Reigns throughout the rest of 2024. This move may have several theories and reasons behind it as fans can’t wait to see Roman again inside the squared circle.
Solo Sikoa has proven himself worthy of carrying the Bloodline without Roman Reigns’ orders
Now that Roman is temporarily absent from the company, Solo Sikoa is the one giving commands for The Bloodline. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have been brought in by Sikoa to help him maintain his position at the head of the stable, but conflict with The Wise Man Paul Heyman has paved the way for the Bloodline to eventually break apart and for Reigns to return as a babyface.
Since Roman’s departure, Solo kicked out Jimmy Uso out of the Bloodline by introducing his cousin and former NJPW wrestler Tama Tonga. The duo had quite a rivalry with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens and had an intense street fight at Backlash France. Tama’s brother Tonga Loa helped the Bloodline fend off Orton and Owens at the event.
The Bloodline Enforcer has managed to get enough screen time and is currently portrayed as the leader of the Bloodline. According to several rumors, The Rock might eventually make his return and join hands with Solo’s Bloodline. All this would further set up for a Bloodline Civil War where Roman would be backed up by his cousins The Usos and Jacob Fatu.
As fans love what they are getting from Sikoa and the Bloodline, the company would love to give more time to develop Solo’s Bloodline. By not adding Roman into the frame prematurely, Sikoa would be seen as a complete monster and villain of the company which would be loved by the fans.
Cody Rhodes needs to be the face of the WWE throughout 2024
The American Nightmare has attracted a lot of eyes with his career-defining victory at WrestleMania XL. While many fans have been enjoying his run as the world champ, others are doubting his performances by comparing his reign to Roman’s monstrous reign. Rhodes started off his reign by having a generic rivalry with AJ Styles setting up their match at Backlash France.
Given their promos and hype packages, the match clearly over-delivered showing that The Phenomenal One can still hang with the company’s top dog. After his outstanding title defense at Backlash, Cody battled Logan Paul at the WWE King and Queen of the Ring event in Saudi Arabia. With a match that was full of viral moments, WWE is trying to build Rhodes as the face of the Blue brand each week.
Rhodes has got good momentum after his constant appearances and looks to face Styles once again at WWE Clash at the Castle after their recent confrontation. Fans are loving how Cody is kept away from the Bloodline and is giving spectacular matches and promos each week. All this might change if Roman enters the frame as he would certainly be in the title picture.
It would be fair to give Rhodes the title for a longer time without any involvement of Reigns. The American Nightmare is doing everything in his part to make the product even better and his efforts should be taken forward throughout the remainder of 2024.
WWE is looking for the right opportunity to showcase The Tribal Chief and The Final Boss in an epic showdown
With growing animosity between the Bloodline members, Roman’s comeback appears increasingly likely, as WWE is sure to pull off several surprises and plot twists. He would undoubtedly seize everything once more upon his return and try to teach Solo a lesson. As previously stated, Solo’s cunning scheme to create a new Bloodline may have been masterminded by The Rock.
As The Rock has promised to be back for Cody’s title, Roman would also look to insert himself down the road. With The Rock’s enormous popularity and power in the TKO, Roman would undoubtedly want to level the playing field by challenging him to a match at WrestleMania 41. It’s unclear if the WWE Championship would be at stake in the fight because The Rock can also defeat Rhodes to take the top spot. The biggest WrestleMania match of all time would then culminate from all these years of storylines and feuds.
Roman Reigns, the Tribal Chief, would face Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, his cousin and The Final Boss. After Roman’s return, fans would be thrilled to witness his babyface run against Rock’s enormous heel reign as the Final Boss. Everything would happen at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41. How the Bloodline story develops in the future and culminates in Roman vs. The Rock remains to be seen.
