In 2020, when French soccer star Kylian Mbappe was just 21 years old, a meme started trending by the name of ‘Project Mbappe’. Many soccer fans joined in on the bandwagon and posted about it. The meme has resurfaced in the past few days. So, what is this ‘Project Mbappe’?
‘Project Mbappe’, as the name suggests, is a process of creating another Kylian Mbappe. Soccer fans want to fulfill dreams of having a Mbappe in their own family. However, this dream is not supposed to be fulfilled by them, they are supposed to train their children to reach that level. Yes, introducing your kids to the soccer world and training them as soon as possible to achieve greatness is ‘Project Mbappe’.

By the age of 21, Mbappe had achieved what many soccer players had not achieved in their whole careers. He had already won the FIFA World Cup 2018 with France, finished as a runner-up in the UEFA Champions League with PSG, and was shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or award. He had scored in the final of the World Cup when he was 19, becoming only the second teenager to do so after Pele.

One man on Instagram became famous because he began ‘Project Mbappe’ with his kid. The account named @raisingzion1 has over 100,000 followers.
‘Project Mbappe’, however, won’t be easy to accomplish. No matter how early you start. To become someone like Mbappe you need much more than just early training and a parent’s dream.

As of now, Mbappe’s list of achievements has grown even stronger. He now has five French League titles in the bag. Mbappe won the UEFA Nations League and also played another World Cup final. This time, he scored a hat trick in the final and won the Golden Boot. However, it was not enough as he finished as a runner-up to Lionel Messi’s Argentina.
