As for the game, CM Punk is still a part of the roster and any new updated roster hasn’t been announced by the company. The game features a lot of game modes to play with and got mixed reactions from the fans. CM Punk’s arrival in the game made it a must-buy for all Punk fans who enjoyed The Best in the World‘s character model.
CM Punk was removed from the original cover of AEW: Fight Forever
Punk’s presence in AEW surely made him one of the main attractions of the company. His overall personality and charisma attracted a lot of wrestling fans to their product. This made AEW announce CM Punk as the main lead for the cover of their exclusive video game. However, things weren’t so well for Punk as he was removed from the cover later.

He was removed after the controversial statements made by him at the AEW All Out 2022 Press conference. His remarks against Kenny Omega and Young Bucks even started a backstage brawl between the superstars which saw Punk getting temporarily suspended from the company. Fans were concerned about his AEW: Fight Forever appearance but were relieved seeing him in the game.
Without a doubt, CM Punk has a lot of attention from the WWE Universe, and are looking forward to his WWE run. Various gamers would be excited to see him appear in the next WWE game which is likely to be WWE 2K24 next year.
