The Chief Content Officer of WWE, Triple H, is often hailed by the fans for his ability to present amusing feuds. However, now it seems that fans have a request for Hunter, and it involves Randy Orton and CM Punk.
CM Punk is quite popular among his fans for his long tenure in WWE. At the promotion, he performed from 2005 to 2014. However, Punk was also a part of AEW, since 2021, but he has recently been released from Tony Khan’s promotion.

On the other hand, Randy Orton was last seen inside the WWE ring in May of last year. Since then, Orton has been out of action due to recovering from a back injury. Fans have been waiting since then for the return of the WWE legend to the ring.
Now that the future of both Orton and Punk seems uncertain, fans have a request to make. They want Triple H to bring back the most “Underrated” rivalry of the Stamford-based promotion, which is the rivalry between The Viper and the Second City Saint. One fan commented, “Both CM Punk and Randy Orton return and feud“.
Recently, Punk took to his Instagram handle to post a story about a picture that features him along with Randy Orton’s father, Bob Orton. Now, it is to be seen if ‘The Game’ indeed listens to the fans and brings back the feud between Orton and Punk.
Reliving the feud between CM Punk and Randy Orton
Randy Orton and CM Punk are two huge names in the world of wrestling. However, the two were once engaged in a feud that was underrated yet outstanding and loved by the fans.
Previously, The Viper made his return to WWE in November 2008. During that, Orton lost to Punk via disqualification. As time progressed, in the 2011 Elimination Chamber, CM Punk eliminated Randy Orton. Following that, the two Superstars faced each other at the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’ at WrestleMania 27, where Orton emerged victorious.
Moreover, The Viper was drafted to the blue brand during the 2011 WWE Draft. Thereafter, he once again faced Punk at the 2011 Extreme Rules in a Last Man Standing Match, where Randy once again defeated Punk. This marked the end of the amazing storyline.
However, now once again, fans want to witness the two superstars colliding against each other. It remains to be seen if, moving ahead, the Stamford-based promotion could indeed reignite the rivalry to keep the requests of their beloved fans.
