This week on AEW Dynamite, we saw the arrival of two exceptional talents in Keith Lee and Jay White. ‘The Limitless‘ Keith Lee had an incredible showing in his match against Isiah Kassidy. Lee qualified for the ‘Face of Revolution‘ Ladder Match. Jay White on the other hand showed for about 60 seconds, attacked Trent, fist-bumped Adam Cole and left. Tony Khan took to Twitter to say that White was a last-minute acquisition and admitted to butchering the term ‘Forbidden Door‘
I didn’t secure @JayWhiteNZ until Sunday. I realized after the fact that Friday night I butchered my own definition of Forbidden Door in hyping tonight. I heard the fans’ feedback, & wanted to ensure that tonight was a special #AEWDynamite for all. Thank you everyone who watched!

What is Tony Khan’s definition of the ‘Forbidden Door‘?
The term ‘Forbidden Door‘ had started to trend worldwide, thanks to AEW and its President, Tony Khan. Although Tony Khan was not the person who coined the term, he indeed did make it popular. According to Tony Khan, the Forbidden Door involves all other wrestling promotions except WWE. The reason behind Khan saying WWE is not part of the Door is not because WWE is AEW’s competitor, but more so with the fact that WWE is doing very good for themselves on their own.
Last week it was announced that there will be a new arrival on AEW Dynamite. Khan also confirmed the news on Twitter.
The big announcement for Wednesday’s Dynamite that we referenced on #AEWRampage (a free agent debut) and the person walking through the Forbidden Door are one and the same. They’re walking in the door, signing a contract, and then slamming the door shut Wednesday on #AEWDynamite!

Khan was in fact referring to Keith Lee’s AEW Debut. But soon realised the contradiction and rushed to make some corrections to it.
It is indeed good to see someone who takes a lot of care and effort to ensure the fans are satisfied.
But at the same time, Is this evidence to show that Tony Khan does indeed make some rash decisions? Since White was a last-minute decision, Khan is bound to utilise him on the show. That begs the question, what plans does AEW have for the Switchblade? Or should they change any plans for the other stars to do so?
