CM Punk is one of the biggest stars in All Elite Wrestling. The Second City Saint made his debut with the promotion in August 2021 and has been a highlight ever since. His rivalry with MJF will go down as one of the best feuds in modern pro-wrestling, and their Dog Collar Match at AEW Revolution 2022 was just a thing of beauty. It’s been 2 weeks since that day in Orlando. Where has he gone? We have the answer.

It got the wrestling world abuzz with rumors of a CM Punk in-ring return for the first time since he left WWE in 2014. And lo and behold; 4 months later, he was with the company.
The Best in the World has been falling in love with professional wrestling again, and his match against MJF at Revolution was arguably the best Dog Collar Match in AEW history. Since then, Punk hasn’t addressed his victory, while Max has moved on to screwing Wardlow out of the TNT Championship.
CM Punk is shooting Season 2 of “Heels”; can’t appear because of commitments
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed why Punk has been missing from our screens since March 6th.
“CM Punk will be part of the filming of the second season of the TV show ‘Heels’ on Starz. Filming is over the next several weeks. That may be why he wasn’t on either show [AEW Dynamite or Rampage] taped in San Antonio this week.” – Dave Meltzer, WON
The Straight Edge Savior’s heel, Junkyard Dog-esque possum-loving maniac Ricky Rabies is set to make his return to Duffy Wrestling League for the second season of the show, and that is why hasn’t shown up on either TBS or TNT. Considering the fact that his character only plays a minor role in the show, we might get to see him return to TV soon. After all, he’s stated his desire to go after the AEW World Championship; and what better place to do it than Las Vegas, at Double or Nothing?
