Logan Paul just created history with his PRIME HYDRATION energy drink company! The drink was already making waves in the UK and USA markets. Although PRIME was already involved with Arsenal, an English soccer club, the company needed a strong foothold in the American market. So what better way to gain exposure than becoming the official sports drink of the UFC?
Recently, Logan Paul hinted that there was a huge announcement on the horizon. A lot of fans wanted Logan to fight inside the Octagon. However, others thought that it had something to do with PRIME. UFC President Dana White was recently spotted with a PRIME bottle during a UFC event. It was an unusual occurrence as UFC does not promote brands that they have no commercial deal with.

Hence, there were rumors that an announcement regarding a partnership was imminent. That seems to have come true as Logan Paul took to Instagram to announce the deal. He posted a photo of him signing a contract with Dana White standing behind him in the UFC offices. Recently Logan’s younger brother, Jake Paul, signed with PFL with the intention of making his MMA debut.
However, it looks like he will have a big role in the promotional activities for PFL. He will be promoting all the events for the MMA company, which may result in better viewership numbers. It looks like Logan Paul’s deal would also serve as a major promotional tool for both the UFC and PRIME HYDRATION.
UFC will make major changes to accommodate the PRIME HYDRATION deal
Although the deal seems to be lucrative, the exact figures of the contract are not public yet. Recently, the WWE superstar and boxer revealed his expectations of how much money PRIME will generate for him. He is striving to make about $5 Billion from the energy drink company. According to a report from Financial Post, PRIME HYDRATION generated over $250 million from sales alone!

Logan has also claimed over and over again that PRIME is better in quality than other sports energy drinks around. Although celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay trashed the drink for its taste, it appears that PRIME is taking over the market slowly but surely! Their UFC deal will also provide a major boost to their exposure to the general public.
Following the official announcement, UFC also released a press release where the company revealed some interesting details. It appears that the company will no longer have red zones and blue zones. For fans who are unaware, the Red and Blue zones are the opposite ends of the Octagon, where the fighters stand at the beginning of the bout.
Instead of the aforementioned colors, the corners will now be renamed “PRIME Hydration Recovery Zones.” The brand will also feature all across the UFC programming. From PPVs to Fight Nights to Dana White’s Contender Series, PRIME will serve as a sponsor everywhere.
