UFC fighter Anshul Jubli is the face of MMA in the South-East Asian country of India. He is only the second Indian to earn a UFC contract after Bharat Kandare. However, as Kandare never triumphed and Jubli won on his UFC debut, the ‘King of Lions‘ is the only Indian to win a UFC bout.

According to many reports, it is confirmed that Jubli is not single. However, there is no concrete information on whether he is married. Several reports have suggested that he got married or engaged in secret.
The primary source of this information is the Instagram profile of Amit Bhadana. The Indian internet celebrity with over nine million followers on Instagram took to his Instagram story to congratulate Jubli in November 2023. Bhadana posted a picture of Jubli with his lady love. Several MMA media reports followed. However, Jubli has not posted about it.
Anshul Jubli is the first Indian to win a UFC bout
Born on January 13, 1995, in Uttarakhand, India, Jubli spent his childhood in various states of the country because of his father’s work. His father was in the army, his transfers would see Jubli moving from place to place. It is reported that they eventually settled down in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Jubli aspired to join the army like his father. However, watching MMA per a friend’s recommendation made him change his mind. He used to watch videos of MMA teachers such as Firas Zahabi and John Danaher. Ultimately, to pursue his MMA dream, Jubli joined Crosstrain Fight Club in Delhi, an MMA club under Siddharth Singh.
Under the training of Singh, Commonwealth Games medalist Rohit Tokas, and Mike Ikilei, Jubli made his pro-MMA debut in 2019. Less than four years into his career, he made his UFC debut against Jeka Saragih in the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night: 218. Jubli won the fight via TKO in the second round and became the first Indian fighter to win a UFC bout.
Jubli held a record of 7-0 before he faced Mike Breeden at UFC 294. The Indian faced his first defeat against the American fighter in Abu Dhabi.
