Earl Winty Thomas III, more popularly known as Earl Thomas, is a former safety who played for the National Football League (NFL) team, the Seattle Seahawks. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns football team at the University of Texas at Austin. Thomas was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in round one of the 2010 NFL Draft as the 14th overall pick.
Thomas had a stunning career with the Seattle Seahawks and received Pro Bowl honors seven times in his ten-year career. He won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks and was part of the legendary Legion of Boom defensive line. In his last season, Thomas switched over to the Baltimore Ravens and spent one year with them.
He got married to model Nina Heisser back in 2016 after the two had dated for nearly ten years. The two had met each other in high school. However, things went haywire when Nina Thomas found Earl and his brother Seth Thomas in an intimate position with another woman. Nina Thomas had been arrested after she held Earl at gunpoint and later filed for divorce in 2020.
Earl Thomas becomes a victim of identity theft and loses $1.9 million
Reports have come in from NOLA.com that a man from New Orleans by the name of Kevin Thompson is involved in a case of stealing the identity of Earl Thomas. Interestingly, Kevin Thompson has been dating Thomas’ ex-wife, Nina. Sources have said that, as per Sgt. Brandon Veal of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Kevin Thompson was using a driver’s license with his own picture coupled with Thomas’ personal information.
NFL fans on social media were stunned to find out the news. Many suggested that Thomas’ ex-wife, Nina, was also involved in the scam. Some found the situation funny and said that the couple were the ‘new millionaires in town’.

Thompson used the fake credentials to open an account at the Jefferson Federal Credit Union in May 2022. Using this fake identity, he transferred funds from Earl Thomas’ account to this union account. Kevin Thompson transferred a total of $700,000 from Thomas’ account.
Furthermore, Kevin Thompson also used the fake identity to transfer ownership of vehicles. It is being reported that Thompson stole a total of $1.9 million worth of assets from Earl. What is funny is that when Thompson was arrested, he was driving a blue Rolls-Royce SUV, which belongs to Earl Thomas!
