On October 14, the popular YouTuber turned boxer Logan Paul will face Bellator welterweight Dillon Danis in a boxing battle. The two will square off in Manchester, England, at the Misfits Boxing Prime card’s dual-main event. Logan has been painfully tolerating Dillon Danis’ brutal online trolling, mostly directed at her fiancée, Nina Agdal, who is a Danish supermodel.
However, it seems like Paul is least affected by all of it, as he is winning the game when we see the larger picture. The ‘Maverick‘ recently appeared on The MMA Hour, hosted by Ariel Helwani, and revealed that Danis will not be getting any PPV points for their fight. He will be getting a fixed payment. Logan, on the other hand, is the one who will be getting paid based on how well the fight goes.
So, all these efforts to promote the fight by Danis are just benefiting Logan Paul if we talk about finances. The podcaster also revealed that Dillon Danis has already lost $100,000 before even fighting Logan. This is because Dillon was signed with Bellator, and when he intended to fight KSI earlier this year, he had to pay a huge sum to his promotion for letting him fight in a boxing match. However, he pulled out of the KSI fight just days before the event.
On top of all this, Dillon Danis has also attracted a lawsuit by Nina Agdal seeking damages worth $150,000. So, one can get the idea that the MMA fighter has not had the best fortunes when it comes to money.
Logan Paul feels Dillon Danis will declare bankruptcy
Logan Paul feels Dillon Danis has placed himself in a very tricky situation here, as he is doing everything he can to promote the fight but will not even be getting any share of PPV revenue. However, in his efforts to promote his fight, he targeted Logan’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, aggressively and eventually was slapped with a lawsuit for that.
The WWE star Logan does not believe that ‘El Jefe’ will be able to pay off the damages that his future wife seeks from Danis, and that will eventually force him to declare bankruptcy.
“He still has to deal with the lawsuit, which is expensive, and he is going to have no money to do it, which is why I saw he was going to have to declare bankruptcy.” – said Logan Paul on MMA Hour.
Logan also feels that the only way for Dillon to avoid all these troubles is to show up to their fight because if he fails to do it, he is going to lose a lot of sponsors, future contracts, and $100,000 as per their clause. For those unaware, if Danis actually opts out of the fight, MMA fighter Mike Perry will be facing Paul.
