Amanda Serrano is willing to risk it all as she is set to defend her WBA, IBF, WBO, WBC, and IBO Women’s Featherweight titles against Heather Hardy. The exciting match-up is going to feature on the undercard of Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul in Dallas, Texas, on August 5.
With all the major boxing titles in line, Serrano and Hardy will clash in a 10-round bout in their rematch. The duo first met in September 2019 at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York for the WBC interim title and WBO title. Serrano won comfortably by unanimous decision, giving her opponent, Hardy, her first ever defeat in pro boxing.

After that, Hardy tried her hand in MMA for a while and returned to the ring in May 2021. However, she could not make the most of her comeback fight against Jessica Camara and lost by unanimous decision. She has just featured in two fights after this and managed to win them both.
The Brooklyn native would like to continue her winning streak, as this is arguably one of the most important fights of her career. Her opponent, Serrano, definitely has the upper hand if we talk about the time spent in the ring. Since their first fight in 2019, Amanda has participated in 8 fights, which is much more than Heather’s 3.
Let us compare the stats of the two boxing veterans to get a better understanding of their matchup.

Serrano vs Hardy: prediction
The stakes are even higher for Amanda Serrano than they were in the first fight. Hardy would also fancy an undisputed featherweight title as she is nearing the end of her career.
The southpaw Serrano, who is 34-year-old, is a naturally aggressive and powerful boxer, and her charismatic style makes her a fan favorite. She will have no problem outpunching her opponent, and due to her offensive style, a stoppage is likely. A single-punch knockout win may not be the case, but a stoppage after a series of strong hits is quite possible.
The 41-year-old Heather Hardy, on the other hand, is a good fighter, but she will have to do something miraculous to find a win in this matchup. So, our prediction for the fight will be: Amanda Serrano wins by stoppage.
