Vitor Belfort is one of the most notorious drug cheats in MMA history. “The Phenom” legally used TRT during a significant portion of his career, leading fans to label that version of him as “TRT Vitor”. He blinded Michael Bisping with a brutal roundhouse kick and nearly defeated Jon Jones using a vicious armbar. But it seems that the tables have turned against Vitor ahead of his Gamebred Boxing 4 matchup against Jacare Souza.

For those unaware, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza too, has been accused of steroid usage by many fighters and pundits. Most notoriously, Michael Bisping alleged Jacare was using PEDs in an epic rant back in 2017. Although, subsequently, with USADA cracking down on such PED abuse, these accusations died down for a while.

However, during his last UFC match in 2021 at the UFC 262 prelims, Andre Muniz broke Jacare’s arm. Muniz threw an armbar from the bottom position after receiving some ground strikes from Jacare. The famed grappler was then caught in a nasty modified armbar as he attempted to escape the position. And with less than a minute left in the round, Muniz took no prisoners, audibly snapping Jacare’s arm to win the fight.

Understandably, ever since that nasty injury, Jacare has been on the sidelines and his fight against Vitor at the Finserv Forum is his comeback to combat sports. And ahead of it, fans are marveling at Ronaldo Souza’s physique. The Brazilian grappler looks bigger and more muscular than he ever has with little to no extra weight. Here are some of the best fan reactions to his new jacked physique.

Fans react to Jacare Souza flaunting his incredible physique ahead of Gamebred Boxing 4

FullViolence, an MMA and combat sports page on Instagram shared a picture of Jacare looking huge ahead of his Vitor Belfort fight. Jacare coming back after 2 years with a new, muscular physique is awfully reminiscent of Conor McGregor doing the same just a few months ago. Fans immediately connected the dots and debated whether Souza’s new physique came as a result of using PEDs.

Franki3_2k quipped, “Bro is on the ubereem horse meat diet.” User slcdrew wrote, “juiced to the gills,” while user offdino sarcastically remarked, “Natural”. Some even made references to Paulo Costa’s secret juice And many users resorted to simply using the needle emoji to get their point across.

Other users pointed out how Jacare Souza was simply fighting fire with fire. Jstbld commented, “Wow. Guess you need to be if you are going against TRT Vitor.” User yesac___ wrote, “TRT Jacare vs TRT Vitor”. Another fan, sebbutler_bro wrote, “bro knew he had to be ready for TRT VITOR”.

Unless Jacare Souza fails one of his drug tests, no one will know whether he really was using PEDs to receive an edge against Vitor. But that will not stop the crusade of fans attempting to identify the “cheaters” in combat sports.
