Dillon Danis looks to have sparked outrage with his latest jab at Jake Paul’s opponent, Ryan Bourland. Many in the combat sports community have condemned ‘El Jefe’ for allegedly mocking Bourland for working as a driver for Uber. At first, many fans believed that Dillion was trolling Jake with his opponent being an ex-Uber employee.
However, this is not the case as Ryan Bourland was an ex-Uber driver as per his LinkedIn and has also been vocal about that. The professional boxing bout between Jake Paul and Ryan Bourland will occur on March 2, 2024, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Bourland (17-2) is a Golden Gloves champion boxer.

Dillion posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Jake Paul’s opponent is an active registered Uber driver with a 4.9 rating.” This did not go down well with the boxing community and Dillion faced a lot of backlash from the fans regarding Ryan and his previous job.
Regardless, Bourland’s critics argue that he has yet to prove his mettle in the professional boxing world, as he has yet to earn a noteworthy victory against a top-tier pro boxer. Meanwhile, Paul (8-1 boxing) has frequently been condemned for largely fighting non-boxers and/or lower-tier boxers while losing to the sole well-known boxer he has faced.
