SUMMARY
- There has been some social media beef between Jake Paul and Neeraj Goyat.
- Recently, Neeraj Goyat came to Puerto Rico in order to face Jake Paul.
In what is likely a publicity stunt to drum up interest for their feud, Jake Paul and Neeraj Goyat came face-to-face for the first time. With some backstory to their rivalry, it was expected to happen sooner or later. However, their first meeting ended rather abruptly, with Amanda Serrano getting caught in the crossfire.
For those unaware, influencer Jake Paul and boxer Neeraj Goyat have been going back and forth on social media. With Goyat having issued an open callout in the past, ‘The Problem Child’ responded in a press conference that he might fight Neeraj in the future. As a result, their back-and-forths on Instagram gradually escalated, with the Indian boxer revealing that he was open to fighting Paul in Puerto Rico.

As such, Goyat kept his promise, flying to Paul’s gym and confronting him. Whilst the confrontation began with a heated exchange of words, the Indian boxer started to grow agitated. Eventually, things got increasingly bitter and escalated to pushing and shoving, prompting security to step in. Notably, the undisputed women’s featherweight world champion, Amanda Serrano, was also caught in the mix.
What did Neeraj Goyat say to Amanda Serrano?
Since the release of the clip by both parties, many have taken to social media to share their thoughts. Naturally, as with all the things Jake Paul does, many sensed a hint of drama and ‘scripting’ throughout the entire ordeal. Although its authenticity is yet to be determined, we do know exactly what was said during the interaction.
Notably, Neeraj Goyat also had a few words to say to Amanda Serrano as well. Sensing that the interaction was getting hostile, Serrano attempted to pull Jake away. However, before she could do so, Goyat stated, “I respect you; I respect you; please don’t”. Realizing that Amanda wanted Jake to withdraw, the Indian boxer tried to negotiate with ‘The Real Deal‘.

Eventually, things reached a boiling point after Paul tried to push Neeraj away, only for him to retaliate in return. In the brief physical altercation they had, Goyat could be seen trying to grab a hold of Jake’s head before being led away. With that said, it is safe to say that we haven’t seen the last of Jake and Neeraj’s beef.
Who is Amanda Serrano fighting next?
Interestingly, during the altercation, one of the things Serrano could be heard saying to Jake was, “It’s fight week.” For those unaware, Jake Paul is set to face Ryan Bourland at the end of the week. Understandably, the fight has flown under the radar, with nobody really caring about the fight.
Previously, Dillon Danis even mocked Jake’s opponent, revealing that he is an Uber driver. As it turns out, Bourland is a former Uber driver and is supposedly coming out of retirement for this fight. According to reports, Ryan is a two-time GBO Light Heavyweight champion, a National Junior Olympian, and a former Golden Gloves champion. This time, Amanda Serrano will be in the main event, defending her undisputed status once again.

Taking on Nina Meinke, Serrano will complete her obligations to fight the mandatory challenger. Taking place at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on March 2, Amanda is expected to win this fight. For the most part, Serrano (46-2-1) is keen to build on her win against Heather Hardy. All things considered, a big win will likely result in resumed talks regarding a Katie Taylor rematch as well.
