The former kickboxer and life guru for men, Andrew Tate, is still in prison. He is one of the most polarizing personalities on the planet. While his verbal back and forth with Greta Thunberg landed him in hot waters with some, others defended him throughout. But shortly after the incident, Tate was arrested in December 2022.
Since then, Tate has seen a lot of ups and downs. His lawyers Eugen Vidineac and Tina Glandian have repeatedly claimed that their client should be released, as there is insufficient evidence against them. But the Romanian court has time and again denied his release. The authorities labeled Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate as influential personalities.
The court also claimed that the Tate brothers may try to flee Romania if they are released. Hence, Tate has been in prison for over 60 days. However, in that period, Tate claimed that nobody was allowed to visit him. On top of that, a recent court hearing saw Tate’s detention period getting extended by 30 more days (90 days in total).
Despite that, Andrew’s Twitter account has assured his fans that he will be released soon. He also claimed that there is no evidence behind the charges. Lawyer gives the latest update on Andrew Tate and his release from jail
Andrew Tate’s legal drama is enough to put any Hollywood movie to shame. From conflicting reports to Tate calling his jail an “animal house,” there have been a ton of updates. A recent report from The Guardian also added that Tate’s accomplices, Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu were placed under home arrest. But the Tate brothers received an increased detention period.
However, if a recent claim is to be believed, Tate’s appeal has been put on hold. Following the most recent hearing, Tate’s lawyer Eugen Vidineac gave the fans an update. Although he did not give any proper timeline of when Tate may get released, he did say that they were able to present enough evidence before the court.

He said, “The conclusion for today, is the fact that we managed to tell the judges the truth. They listened all our pleasants, they received to the files all our evidences, so regarding today, we’re trustful that the solution will be legal and a good one.”
Tate’s legal team sounds confident about his release. There are reports that Tristan was rushed to the hospital and rumors have it that the prison guards tried to allegedly poison him. Reports also add that Andrew has a lung problem and he wanted to go to Dubai to get treatment for it. However, it will all depend on when he gets released from the Romanian prison.
