Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan’s arrest made global headlines in the waning days of 2022. The brothers were brought up on charges of human trafficking, r*pe, and ties to organized crime. Their 24-hour detention was also extended to 30 days. And on 10th January, their appeal to overturn the extension was denied, and later, another 30 days were slapped on for good measure.
As the brothers were being escorted into the DICOT facility in Romania, they were swarmed by journalists who were hungry for answers. In a video by Daily Mail, you can see Tristan Tate screaming, “My money, that’s why I’m in jail. I have money that they are trying to steal.”
When asked whether he was being attacked by the matrix, Andrew Tate responded, “Of course. The case file’s completely empty.” Tate was also saying, “We’ve done nothing wrong,” before the journalist asked him that question. Unlike his brother who was hysterical, Andrew seemed much more composed.
Top G‘s fanbase has been restless during his time in prison. They have constantly cited the “matrix” as the reason for Andrew’s arrest. And, claiming that the charges against the former kickboxer are baseless. Andrew’s fans also went after Greta Thunberg after she was detained near a coal mine in Lutzerath. For the uninitiated, Tate and the teenage activist were embroiled in a sensational feud before his arrest.
Andrew Tate’s confession after recent charges
Top G has often been accused of being a misogynist. Many celebrities, fans and influential figures alike have levied this accusation at the former world champion kickboxer. And after the charges against Tate became public, detractors jumped at the opportunity, their beliefs seemingly confirmed.
Now, during this brief interaction the former kickboxing champions had with the media, Andrew Tate was asked point-blank whether he had hurt any girls. As Andrew was being escorted into the DICOT building, he left saying, “There’s no justice in Romania, unfortunately.” Just then, a female journalist asked Tate, “Did you hurt any girls?” To this Tate responded simply with, “No, of course not.”
In this rare public appearance since their incarceration, the Tate brothers looked like pale imitations of their usual, swaggering selves. Tristan looked very unsettled, frustrated angry. On the other hand, Andrew, despite seeming much more calm and composed, looked worse for the wear physically. This may end up fuelling the rumors of his health worsening due to the dire conditions within the prison where they are serving their detention.
