Andrew Tate has gone on to become one of the most controversial figures of our time. Over the years, the 36-year-old has garnered a huge fanbase on social media. However, in a shocking turn of events, Romanian authorities arrested ‘Top G‘ and his brother Tristan in late December last year. They imprisoned the duo on alleged charges of human trafficking, r*pe, and running an underground organized crime group.
However, to their fans’ relief, the officials released the two and have since put them under house arrest beginning in March. As per the rules, the Tate brothers cannot leave their house premises. However, this hasn’t stopped Andrew making noise on the internet. In fact, Andrew has remained as active online as he was prior to his detention.

Right from buying new Bugatti scooters to walking around the house shirtless, Tate seems to be sharing a huge chunk of how he spends his life post-prison. Recently, the social media personality took to Twitter to share what appears to be a light boxing session with his coach. He captioned it saying, “No such thing as “retired” when coach comes to visit you.“
Fans can see his coach holding pads for him as Tate relives his kickboxing days as he throws combinations. For people unaware, Tate is a former 4-time kickboxing world champion. Some people might only know him as a social media star or controversial figure. However, Tate has a plethora of fights under his belt.
Andrew Tated commenced training in 2005 and debuted around 2007. Some reports claim that Tate has had a total of 85 bouts in his career, with 76 wins and 9 losses, 23 of which have come via KO/TKO. Tate competed one final time in December 2020, defeating Cosmic Lingurar via TKO in the 2nd round. However, due to multiple eye injuries and surgeries, ‘Top G’ retired from the sport.
What is the update on Andrew Tate and his house arrest?
Earlier this week, Romanian authorities handed another blow to controversial media star Andrew Tate. The court has extended the Tate brothers’ house arrest for another 30 days. The former kickboxer has been immensely vocal about his zest to clear his name from any wrongdoing and move past the charges hounding him.
As per the latest extension, both Tristan and Andrew won’t be able to leave their residences till May 29, 2023. Needless to say, the decision has disheartened ‘Top G’ and his global fanbase. Despite the prolonged investigation, no charges have been put forward as such against the Tate brothers and their alleged associates.
As the prosecution continues investigating the matter, Tate keeps expressing his calmness over the rather frustrating situation. In response to the recent extension, Andrew retweeted his video dated April 21, where he appears to walk around shirtless.
In the original video, Tate said, “30 more days on house arrest. 30 more days suppressed. No EMs. I haven’t been free for a single day this year. The battle rages against Shaitan.” Whereas he quote-retweeted it saying, “Again. 30 more days.“

During his house arrest, he has even been approached by several news outlets claiming to help him share his side of the story. However, the 36-year-old has yet to make his grand return to any such podcast/show. The duo’s house detention is a significant development in the highly-watched case and keeps garnering considerable media attention.
The two brothers have maintained their innocence throughout this whole time. And at this point, it is very unclear when the investigation will come to an end line.
