Famous or, as many would say, infamous, former kickboxing champion Andrew Tate is making progress in his ongoing legal dispute. He was arrested on December 29, 2022, on the charges of r*pe, human trafficking, and organized crime. However, their trouble started in April of last year after two women came forward with some horrific allegations.

It is reported that the two women, one American and the other from Moldova, alleged that the Tate brothers withheld them and forced them to produce pornographic content. After the allegation, Romanian authorities searched Tate’s place and interrogated the Tate brothers. It ultimately led to an elaborative investigation and their result in December 2022.

However, as fans know, Andrew and Tristan denied the charges and pleaded not guilty. Now, it turns out that women are going to face further legal action from Tate’s team. Recently, in a video, Tate’s US attorney, Tina Glandian, explained that Tate’s legal team was going to file a civil suit against one of the women, who hailed from the USA.

Recently, there were accusations that Tate’s legal team have issued a notice to the women and threatened them to sue for $300 million. Apparently, that is not the case and it was just a cease and desist letter. But, there are plans to follow up with further and stricter legal actions against the women. So it does appear that Top G is confident about his case and wants to make the women pay for allegedly framing him.

Recently, there were some leaked transcriptions that allegedly proved that the women set Tate up. However, there was no proof regarding the authenticity of those images. Hence, it will be interesting to see what course the legal matter takes.

When will Andrew Tate be freed from Romanian prison?

Tina Glandian, Andrew Tate’s US attorney, recently shared some very exciting news for Tate’s fans. After suffering through nearly 90 days of detention, fans are getting restless and want to know when their hero will finally be let go from prison. As it turns out, Tate’s American heritage is coming to his rescue. As his fans are aware, Andrew’s father Emory Tate was a famous American chess player.

Although he migrated to the United Kingdom later, Tate was born in America. So he is a dual citizen and apparently, the American embassy has shown interest in the case. Although Tate will be in the prison till the end of April, there is a slight possibility that he may get released after that. As per Romanian law, one can not be incarcerated for a long period without enough evidence to justify the stay.

If Tate’s lawyers are to be believed, the Romanian investigative agency, DIICOT, does not have enough evidence. Hence, Tate may be released his current detention period, if his legal team can not bail him out before that. However, the US embassy may get involved in the case if there is a sense that Tate is not getting the proper justice.
