Anthony Joshua suffered a big blow after losing to Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch for the unified heavyweight titles last month. Thereafter WBC champion Tyson Fury and Usyk have been in discussion for an undisputed heavyweight title fight on social media.

However, there was a breakdown in their talks as Fury wanted to fight in December and the Ukrainian was not ready to get back inside the ring again this year. Instead of waiting for Usyk, Tyson Fury offered AJ an opportunity to compete for the WBC and lineal heavyweight titles on social media.

Yo @anthonyjoshua what you saying big G let’s give the fanz what they want as Usyk is bitching???

After Tyson’s callout, everyone was expecting The Gypsy King to take a significant percentage from the fight purse and fans were eager to know the split. Consequently, Fury posted a video on Twitter where he disclosed the fight split offer of 60-40 and threw the ball in AJ’s court.

Tyson Fury has offered Anthony Joshua a 60/40 split for a straight shot at his WBC heavyweight world title later this year:

🗣 “I want this fight to happen. He doesn’t have any excuses now not to take it.”

The Gypsy King has a date and venue in mind for this super fight and despite AJ’s recent losses, fight fans around the world would be eager to see these two heavyweights stalwarts clash against each other inside the ring.

Anthony Joshua accepts Tyson Fury’s callout and vows to be ready for the title fight in December

Soon after Tyson Fury called Anthony Joshua out for a fight, AJ responded on Twitter and accepted his callout. As per a report, the former heavyweight champion has even agreed to The Gypsy King’s fight purse split offer of 60-40.

Yea calm. I don’t do the online discussions just for clout, so if your really about it shout @258mgt. I’ll be ready in December. Khalas https://t.co/kKCWdrlmol

He is ready to fight in December and apparently, Frank Warren has a venue booked in December which fits perfectly for this mega fight. The only thing that could end up being a problem is the inclusion of a rematch clause that Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn want.

Looking at Fury’s interest to get back inside the ring as soon as possible, it would most likely not affect this matchup and we will finally be able to witness this mouthwatering heavyweight clash after years of back and forth on social media.
