Did Amanda Serrano just betray her promoter, Jake Paul, with his rival Tommy Fury?
Following her loss against Katie Taylor via split decision in April of this year, Amanda Serrano was back in action against Sarah Mahfoud. She defended her WBC, WBO, and IBO female featherweight championships, while winning the IBF female featherweight title in the AO Arena in Manchester, England. The bout went the full distance and Serrano won the fight via unanimous decision.
Amanda Serrano is the Unified Featherweight Champion now holding the WBC, WBO, IBO, IBF and RING belts. One more to come.

With the win, she now becomes the unified featherweight champion with all the WBC, WBO, IBO, IBF and The Ring titles under her possession. Following her win, Jake Paul face-timed her to congratulate her on the win. But unexpectedly, while Jake was on the call with Amanda, Tommy Fury was in the locker room with her.
Jake was certainly surprised to see Tommy in the room and jokingly asked whether the two were currently dating or not. He said, “Oh no, oh no, Tommy, Tommy, wait so are you dating Amanda Serrano now? That’d be a weird relationship”

Amanda Serrano is under contract with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. She was the first fighter to sign for the company. Serrano has previously expressed her gratefulness to Paul for giving her career the exposure and the opportunity to fight on the biggest stage.
Jake Paul wants to fight Tommy Fury despite two previous cancellations
Tommy Fury, who has a professional record of 8-0, was set to fight Jake Paul twice; once in December of 2021 and the other occasion on August 6th of this year. While the first fight was cancelled due to Tommy getting injured, this time around, he was unable to make it to the United States of America due to visa issues. The fight was set to take place in Madison Square Garden (MSG).
Jake previously stated publicly that he will not fight Tommy Fury again. However, it looks like The Problem Child has softened his stance on the matter. While chatting with Tyson Fury’s stepbrother, the 25-year-old expressed his wish to make the bout. Jake said, “Tommy bro, Tommy let’s make the fight happen, buddy, let’s make it happen.”
Jake has a lot on his plate at the moment. He was just sued by Eddie Hearn’s company, Matchroom Boxing, for a huge $100 million. The defamation lawsuit comes after Jake’s statement regarding the judgement in Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2. Aside from that, he also has a fight coming up which is set to go down on October 29th, against the former UFC champ Anderson Silva.
