Joe Rogan is known for having some very high-profile guests on his show. Moreover, he tends to discuss a variety of topics ranging from MMA, and boxing to other current events as well. In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe delved into Dillon Danis and his upcoming boxing match.
In two weeks’ time, Dillon will take on Logan Paul on the MF & DAZN Prime Card. Following a heated back and forth and a rivalry that has lasted for almost a decade, the two will finally have their showdown. Thus, in his latest episode, Rogan discussed the fight with UFC bantamweight champ, Sean O’Malley and his coach, Tim Welch.

Naturally, Dillon was aware that he was one of the topics of discussion in the podcast. As such, the BJJ ace fished out a segment, where Rogan complimented him for his grappling and jiu-jitsu skills. In the clip that Dillon shared on X, Rogan can be heard saying,” He’s an elite grappler. His grappling is f**king amazing. He’s really f**king good, on the ground, he’s sensational. That kid has some f**king serious jiu-jitsu.”
For the most part, the UFC color commentator had some high praise for ‘El Jefe’. However, at the same time, Rogan did his best not to be too biased, stating that the 30-year-old is not the best striker. Notably, Joe also comments on Dillon linking up with UFC star Alex Pereira to improve his boxing. According to Rogan, training with Pereira is very good for Danis, but not too effective in the short run, seeing that he has a fight very soon.
Joe Rogan believes that Dillon Danis is a great troll
Whilst Rogan spent a while talking about Dillon’s exceptional ground game, he also pointed out his social media game. For those unaware, Danis made a name for himself on social media rather than through his achievements as a fighter. Previously, the Bellator fighter used to be known as the laughingstock of the MMA community, purely due to his obnoxious and boastful comments.
Notably, he has also trolled 18-year-old UFC fighter, Raul Rosas Jr. as well. However, in recent times, Dillon has done well to elevate his game and earn the goodwill of the community. Ahead of his fight, the grappler took to X to post more than 300 pictures of his opponent’s fiancee, Nina Agdal. Despite getting into legal trouble for it, many felt as though Dillon would have the last laugh. Speaking about his bait tweet about pulling out, Joe commended him, “He’s a great troll.”
Man can’t take a break off Twitter without people thinking I’m pulling out 😂 pic.twitter.com/8R9okcTK5c

Here, Sean O’Malley and Tim Welch also stated that Dillon was facing a huge bill after Nina Agdal’s lawsuit. As a result, he would have to pay a lot of money in lawyer and settlement fees. Recently, Dillon also appeared on a livestream with Andrew Tate where he stated that he was having to pay out around $400,000.
Thus, it would seem that Dillon’s trolling has gotten him into a lot of trouble as well. With only a couple of weeks left to his fight, Dillon has shown no signs of slowing down either. For the most part, fans are interested to see how things unfold when he finally gets into the ring against Logan Paul.
