Dillian Whyte suffered a horrific knockout loss against Tyson Fury in their heavyweight title showdown that took place at the Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom yesterday. Whyte entered this fight on the back of an impressive knockout win over Alexander Povetkin.
However, his hopes of winning the heavyweight title were crushed by Fury. Owing to the fact that, The Gypsy King outclassed The Body Snatcher with his reach and speed and went on to finish him with a vicious uppercut to successfully retain his WBC and Lineal heavyweight titles.
Following this defeat, Whyte spoke about the fight in an interview with Sky Sports. Whyte did not agree with the referee’s decision to stop the fight as he felt that the fight ended in an abrupt manner.
Moreover, he claimed that Fury’s illegal push was the decisive factor in him not being able to recover. He also alleged that the referees always let Fury do whatever he wants inside the ring.
Dillian Whyte: “When the uppercut landed I was buzzed, but he full on pushed me, I fell over and hit my head on the canvas, which is illegal. But as usual they let Tyson Fury do what he wants and get away with it. I should have been allowed extra time to recover.” [@SkySports]

Dillian Whyte wants a rematch against Tyson Fury in the future
Dillian Whyte also said during the interview with Sky Sports that he hopes that Tyson Fury reconsiders his decision to retire. Because he wishes to avenge his loss against Fury and settle the score. “He said he’ll retire. I hope he doesn’t retire because I want another go.”

Despite The Body Snatcher’s wishes to face Fury once again, it is highly unlikely that The Gypsy King will return to the ring to compete in a professional boxing bout. Because Tyson Fury had promised his wife to retire after this fight and he believes that he has nothing more to achieve in the sport.
Besides, Whyte would have to win against one or two big names before earning the right for a title shot. And by the looks of it even if Fury chooses to return, he would try to fight for the undisputed heavyweight crown.
