Andrew Tate recently received another barrage of bad news from the Romanian court. On March 15, Tate appealed against the detention order and requested to be put under house arrest. The hearing for the appeal took place recently on March 29 and the court in Bucharest denied the appeal. However, all hope is not lost for Andrew as there is another hearing set to take place on March 31.
On Friday there will be a hearing regarding the Tate brothers appeal to overturn DIICOTs request to extend their detention another 30 days.

For fans who are unaware, Tate is being charged with organized crime, human trafficking, and r*pe. He was arrested on December 29, 2022, after the police raided his Romanian property. Since then, he served nearly 90 days inside a detention center and has repeatedly pleaded that he was innocent. After the judge extended his detention once more recently, Tate’s lawyer Eugen Vidineac called it “illegal.”
In recent days, Tate’s US attorney, Tina Glandian revealed that the US Embassy in Romania was taking interest in the case. As Tate is an American citizen, thanks to his father Emory Tate, the US may intervene if they sense injustice. So it is a show of support that will certainly boost Tate’s morale during his jail stay, which he compared to living in an “animal house.”
Although his fans are outraged by the whole incident, Top G himself has not received a lot of support from many famous celebrities. Many have celebrated the fact that Greta Thunberg got the best of him during their Twitter feud. Even UFC commentator Joe Rogan hinted that Tate’s message may not be the best for young teenagers. However, Hollywood star, Dwayne Jonshon, may be one of the celebs who stands with Tate.
What did Dwayne Johnson say about Andrew Tate?
Dwayne Johnson is the most in-demand Hollywood movie star in the industry. From “Fast and Furious,” to the DCU, The Rock has starred in many high-profile movie franchises. Not only acting but being a former professional wrestler with WWE, Johnson also invests a lot of time in keeping himself fit. If fans know anything about Andrew Tate, he repeatedly preaches the message of regularly working out.
Hence, there is no surprise that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is aware of who Andrew Tate is. Recently, in a video uploaded by the YouTube channel, MIFFIN, Dwayne was seen quoting Andrew Tate about the importance of going to the gym every day. The quote was, “The man who goes to the gym every single day regardless of he feels, will always beat the man who goes to the gym when he feels like going to the gym.”
However, to put the matter into context, the reference from The Rock was before Andrew was arrested. But the video also cited an Instagram comment from The Rock that read, “free speech is definitely being taken away.” While many have speculated that the comment was in reference to Tate’s support, there is nothing to prove that theory.
After Tate’s imprisonment, Dwayne Johnson never shared anything about Andrew Tate publicly. With Andrew being locked up with some serious charges, it is unlikely that Johnson will make any public statement on the matter either.
So what do you think of the matter? Do you think the theory of Dwayne Johnson supporting Andrew Tate has any legitimacy? Or is it just fan speculation that is getting too much traction? Let us know in the comments down below.
