During the Mayweather vs Deji card which Jake Paul was commentating, he was seen facing off with a potential opponent. Paul was seen facing off against controversial influencer Andrew Tate. The face-off occurred following a tweet by the YouTuber in which he first announced about a potential fight against Andrew Tate. The tweet, which read ‘negotiations’, hyped the fans up about a potential matchup between the two. Paul boxed and defeated Anderson Silva in his last fight which made him earn a lot of credibility as a boxer.

Andrew Tate has had a successful career as a World Champion Kickboxer in the past, with a record of over 80 professional kickboxing fights. The match-up can be quite lucrative considering Paul’s latest stint as a boxer, and Tate’s kickboxing career. Tate was seen sparring in front of the fans recently. All these hints signal a potential bout between the two. A bout can be quite evenly matched considering Paul’s recent success and Tate’s ring rust.
Will Andrew Tate really fight Jake Paul?
The fans of the sport, however, are doubtful of the matchup. A numbers of reasons can be listed as to why the bout may not materialize. One such reason can be the statements given by Andrew Tate’s brother Tristian Tate. He stated that the YouTuber and the influencer have way too much mutual respect to be fighting each other.
“But people like Jake Paul, I feel like there’s too much mutual respect between our camps. I feel like we’re gonna collaborate in some way and it’s not gonna be punching each other.”- Tristan Tate said
Also, Paul has been speaking positively about the influencer on his podcast for quite some time. Tate has been doing the same on his podcast as well.
Therefore, this reason is credible enough for the the fans to disagree with the opinion that the fight is going to materialize. They expressed themselves through twitter:
Fakest “rivalry” there is, obviously doing some sort of business together and you can even see them talking to each other in this clip and see it’s sneak talk. Keep in mind they did this after the commentary(which you can hear out loud) talked about them fighting to the arena.

PR stunt….soon as camera is off they both just act normal and walk away, wont be fighting.

Whether the fight comes to fruition or not is yet to be determined. But for the fans, it would only be believable once the official announcement is made.
