Gervonta Davis and Floyd Mayweather seem to be at a crossroads against each other. ‘Tank’ has taken to X and leveled some serious allegations against his former promoter. According to the WBA Lightweight Champion, Mayweather is stuck in the UAE as he owes some people money and cannot leave.
The allegations were placed by Davis on X and it is still unclear if there is any truth to them. Initially, a fan tagged Davis and wrote, “Let me find out Floyd being held hostage in Dubai @Gervontaa”
Tank responded by writing, “He gotta pay them people that money back..if I’m lying tell him to go live rn.” Further, Tank wrote, “He been stuck over there for a min too..”

However, this was not it. Davis also took to Instagram to take shots at Mayweather. In a recent video, Mayweather advised the new generation of boxers to start investing their money and not live paycheck to paycheck. ‘Money’ mentioned that fighters take too much interest in the lavish lifestyles and that they live in the moment but do not think about the future.
Davis uploaded the video on his Story and wrote, “N**** say all this bull Sh*t but in Dubai and can’t leave becuz he been taking n**** money and not doing what they paid him to do.. n**** a f*cking hater.”
Mayweather was a promoter for Davis for a long while before they split in May 2022. Their relationship was tainted but it was reported that they had made amends. However, it seems that the pair are in a beef again.

Fans had a mixed reaction to Davis’s allegations. Many believed Davis and went with the narrative that Mayweather had done something wrong in Dubai.

However, many believe that this is the beginning of Davis’s promotion for his next fight. Davis is set to defend his WBA lightweight title against Frank Martin at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, on June 15, 2024.
Floyd Mayweather is currently involved in a beef with Bill Haney
Currently, Mayweather is in a public feud with Devin Haney‘s father Bill Haney. Even after his son’s disappointing loss against Ryan Garcia this past weekend, Bill has no reason to go underground.
Bill and Mayweather went at each other during a recent Instagram Live. Mayweather congratulated Bill on having an “undefeated fighter in the gym” after Bill alleged that Devin beat Mayweather in a sparring session. Bill clapped back by undermining Mayweather’s boxing career.

This was surely not the last interaction between Bill and Mayweather. They will probably attack each other publicly again. Moreover, Mayweather may also respond to the allegations leveled against him by Davis soon.
