The WBC and Lineal Ring Heavyweight Champion of the world Tyson Fury has his say on the upcoming British showdown between Amir Khan (35-5) and Kell Brook (39-3). Khan makes his return after more than two years away from the ring. He last competed in July of 2019 in a TKO win over Billy Dib. In the process, he also grabbed the WBO International welterweight title. The bout also marked his return to the win column, having lost his previous fight against Terence Crawford for the WBO welterweight title.
Meanwhile, Kell Brook is fresh from a fourth-round stoppage loss against Terence Crawford. He last competed inside the ring in November of 2020. Brook has only lost thrice inside the ring, and the setbacks have come against the likes of Terence Crawford, Errol Spence Jr., and Gennady Golovkin.
Ahead of the fight, the Gypsy King took to Instagram to express his opinion on the fight. “People keep asking me who wins & my opinion on the fight,” Fury continues, “I know both fighters & wish them well, both had great careers, happy it’s finally happening & the fans get to see it. As many British showdowns don’t come off. Congrats to both men for getting it on, may the best man win.”

Tyson Fury did not have a clear-cut answer to who wins between Amir Khan and Kell Brook this weekend, but he wished both men well and congratulated both boxers for making a “British showdown” happen.
Who is Tyson Fury fighting next?
Tyson Fury is set to take on WBC interim Dillian Whyte in the UK. The bout will mark the first time Fury will perform in the U.K since August of 2018. However, uncertainties still loom large over the fight. In a fairly recent post by the Gypsy King, he called out Dillian Whyte and demanded he “sign the contract.”

The purse bid of Fury vs Wilder was won by Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions at a staggering $41 million (£31 million.) However, it has come to reports that Dillian Whyte is still not happy with his 20% share from the fight purse. Needless to say, this could be the reason why the bout is not a signed deal yet. Only time will tell what lies ahead for Tyson Fury, till then fans can only hope and predict.
