Controversial influencer and ex-kickboxer Andrew Tate was in talks to fight Jake Paul in one of the highly anticipated boxing bouts. The fans were eagerly waiting to see Tate back in action. However, recently Tate has hinted that this fight is unlikely to happen.
In a recent Livestream with Adin Ross, ‘Top G’ discussed the highly anticipated fight. Tate replied to a question asked by someone saying: “I don’t think me and Jake Paul are going to fight. There’s a lot of negotiations behind the scenes. It’s not a simple process.”
Tate further added: “Between you and I, I actually quite like Jake. It’s Logan who’s full of shit.” When Ross asked if he could call Logan to speak with Tate, ‘Top G’ replied by saying, “the day me and Logan speak, it’s not gonna be for some Twitch stream.”
The rivalry between Tate and the Paul brothers is not new. ‘Top G’ stated that he likes Jake now that he has become a boxer while adding that he still hates his older brother, Logan Paul who is also a YouTuber boxer.

Previously, Tate called out Logan for a bout where he claimed that he will fight Logan for free. Meanwhile, Andrew’s brother Tristan also recently stated that the fight between Andrew and Jake is unlikely to happen because there is too much mutual respect between them.
Andrew Tate and Jake Paul were in talks to fight in 2023
Andrew Tate and the Paul brothers have been going back and forth on social media for quite some time now. When Jake was starting his boxing career, fighting retired UFC fighters, ‘Top G’ called him out claiming that he will beat him in a fight.
Over time, Paul has turned out to be a good fighter and he is fighting legitimate fighters now. ‘The Problem Child’ was previously set to fight professional boxers like Tommy Fury, and Hasim Rahman Jr. but for some reason, those bouts were canceled.
‘The Problem Child’ is 6-0 now as a professional boxer and has defeated Silva in the biggest fight of his career yet. With this victory, Paul has established himself in the world of boxing while debunking the accusations of match-fixing.
Paul is coming off a victory over UFC legend Anderson Silva and he proved in that fight that he is the real deal. Meanwhile, Tate and Paul squared off in a boxing ring and that clip was shared by the latter with captions: “Negotiations.”
