Jake Paul is ruling the headlines with his recent diss track of Dana White. He slandered the UFC president for the way MMA fighters are treated in the promotion. However, his focus is still on boxing. It was evident by Paul’s interview with Stephen A. Smith during a segment in ‘Stephen A’s WORLD’ on ESPN+. He called out the biggest boxing star at the moment, Caleno Alvarez.
In the interview, Jake Paul said, “I’m very serious about it. And Canelo, if you are watching this, you better be in the gym. You better start training bro. Did you get your five miles in today? Cause I did. I’m serious Stephen.”

Smith then asked him about his lack of experience heading into a fight with perhaps the greatest fighter alive, Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez. The 5-0 fighter explained, “Nah, definitely I need a few more fights. Cause I’m not taking him on in my next bout. But a couple of more years of experience with the team I got, I’m surrounded by the best team in the world possible that money can afford.”

“So, I’m getting exponentially better with every single fight. So, a couple (of) fights from now, why not? I’m bigger that’s the other thing. You know, we’re not in the same weight class. He has never fought anyone as strong as me and as big as me. I these big tree trunk legs that put people to sleep.”
Who will Jake Paul fight next?
The 25-year old last fought in December against the former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. After that fight, he called out Conor McGregor, Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz. Although Masival and Paul had a brief back and forth a while ago, a fight between the two seems very unlikely as the former is still under contract with the UFC. Jorge will fight Colby Covington in March.
Nate Diaz is a possible opponent for the YouTuber. Diaz will be out of contract with the UFC after one more fight. Although UFC is yet to book a fight for Nate Diaz, it will not be surprising if the younger Diaz brother leaves the UFC. It will not be surprising if Nate chooses a big money fight against Jake Paul.
