One of the most controversial narratives from the Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul exhibition match has been the moment when Floyd supposedly knocked out Logan Paul and carried him to avoid the knockdown.
Now it’s the same scenario we saw after Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather’s fight. The boxing fans came forward to claim that Mayweather carried McGregor for 10 rounds before he decided to put an end to the fight.
Now despite the advantages in size and power, Logan Paul winning atleast a couple of rounds against the best fighter that the world of boxing has to offer is a huge achievement for Logan Paul and a bad look for Mayweather and boxing. The boxing GOAT is not supposed to go 8 rounds against a fighter with 3 years of boxing experience and not look dominant.
And it might be the case that the fans are looking into the minute details to justify the fact that Logan Paul did a fabulous job against one of the greatest ever. And it also might be the case that this was a work and Floyd indeed held back to put on a show for the fans.

Logan Paul fires back at the critics for discrediting his performance
Logan Paul fired back at the fans making this bizarre claim and stated:
“I am seeing this narrative going around that there is one part in the fight where Floyd punched me, I kind of like leaned on him a little bit. It kind of looks like I limped and people are trying to spin it and say he knocked me out and caught me and kept me up to keep the fight going to the 8th round. Shut the f**k up. Just shut the f**k up. Stop trying to discredit what happened last time.”
Logan also clarified that there was not a single moment in the fight where he was rocked or on the verge of getting knocked out. Logan stated:
“Make no mistake he got a lot of good punches. There are a couple of photos I got f****d up in a couple of photos. But never rocked, never blacked out, never knocked out. he did not hold me up. He tried to take me out and he could not.”
