Fans are grasping straws to find out what is going on with Andrew Tate and his detention in Romania. Andrew, along with Tristan Tate, Luana Radu, and Georgiana Naghel has been in custody for more than a month now. Although there were hopes that Andrew and Tristan would be released soon, the recent news is not very positive.
Tate even appealed against his arrest in a Romanian court. However, Andrew Tate went back to the detention center after his appeal was denied. Tate recently revealed on Twitter that the authorities allowed 5 visitors to him in the prison. While 4 spots were reserved exclusively for his family members, Tate wanted Adin Ross to be the fifth person to have access to him while he is incarcerated.
But his lawyer later revealed that it would be problematic for Adin to visit Top G in the Eastern European country. Although fans know the charges that were brought against the Tate brothers, what is the evidence behind them? In a shocking new development, Tristan Tate has seemingly shed some light on the matter.
Tristan Tate makes an explosive claim in a handwritten letter
Tristan Tate has been the more vocal of the Tate brothers since their arrest in December 2022. Recently, the younger Tate brother did something perhaps nobody expected. While Andrew recently slammed the Romanian authorities for trying to take away his money, Tristan went one step ahead. While entering the prison after their court appeal, Tristan handed the press a handwritten letter.
He could be heard urging the journalists to take the letter, as the authorities were trying to take him away. While Tristan was swiftly taken inside the building, he did manage to hand over the letter. So what did it say? Tristan revealed the only evidence that the DIICOT allegedly has against him and his brother.
Tristan wrote, “DIICOT’s ‘evidence’ against us is our friends (Beatrice and Jasmin) made a TikTok video in 2021. That’s why I’m in prison. Ask DIICOT for evidence. Ask the judges who is influencing them. Tell the world what is happening.”
Andrew Tate will remain in detention till February 27, 2023
The Andrew Tate case has riveted the world for almost a month now. It started right at the end of 2022 when the Romanian police arrested Andrew. Subsequently, the authorities have also seized many of his properties in the country including his much-talked-about supercars. While he claims to have 33 of some of the most expensive cars in the world, 15 of them have been apprehended.
However, some news details have emerged which may put another spin on the Tate arrest. It was widely reported that Tate’s arrest was a result of two rescued women coming forward against the Tate brothers. As a direct result of the incident, Tate was charged with human trafficking, r*pe, and organized crime. But in a recent tweet, Andrew Tate made some shocking claims to prove his innocence.
My case isn't criminal.

It's political.

In his tweet, Tate added a video that pointed toward a potential conspiracy theory. As per the video, there is a power vacuum in Romania at the top. DIICOT, the government body responsible for Tate’s arrest, does not have a head figure yet. With elections coming up in 2024, the video suggested that Tate may just be a political prisoner.
In more bad news, reports recently suggested that Andrew’s detention period of 30 days has been increased by 30 more days. After his arrest on December 28, 2022, Tate was given a detention period of 30 days. But, with the recent decree, Tate’s detention will now continue till February 27. So in total, Tate will end spend 60 days in detention.
