Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder

The rivalry between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will probably go down in history as one of the greatest rivalries in boxing in the modern era. The undefeated KO specialist Deontay Wilder took on Tyson Fury and settled on a controversial draw in the first fight. However, Fury came much stronger in the second fight, picking up a TKO win in the seventh round of the fight. While everything pointed at Fury going forward to defend his WBC and lineal title in a unification bout against Anthony Joshua, Wilder used the right for the third match to open up a potential trilogy between the two boxers.

Fury captioned, “Deontay Wilder where you at mush? The clock is ticking!! I’m not gonna wait forever!!! There is other bums in the division that I want to eat for breakfast.”

The winner of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder will take on the winner of Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev in a unification title bout for the IBF, WBA, WBO, AND lineal Heavyweight Championship of the world. Joshua will defend his title in a mandatory title defense against Kubrat Pulev. It will be interesting to see where the Heavyweight division goes from here. Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder will also fight this Saturday for the interim WBC Heavyweight Championship. The division looks solid and has a lot of interesting match-ups going forward. Boxing fans can expect firecrackers inside the ring when boxing resumes across all divisions.

Deontay Wilder will look to make adjustments in his trilogy fight to get back in the title picture. Wilder remains undefeated with sole loss against Tyson Fury. If Wilder can get the win in the next fight, he will go down as the greatest of all time.
