Jake Paul had very high hopes coming into the fight against Tommy Fury. Taking on arguably his toughest opponent to date, Jake had a lot of critics to silence. As such, despite his confidence, he was unable to deliver on the night.
As usual, Jake took to teasing his opponent and set another customary bet as he did against Tyron Woodley. This time, the YouTuber put forth the proposition of an all-or-nothing bet against Tyson Fury’s half-brother. As per the bet, the winner would take home their purse, along with the loser’s as well.
Wait so does Tommy get all of the $?

However, with Jake losing the fight, many have questioned the outcome of the bet. Thus, Bradley Martyn, a fitness influencer and podcaster asked whether Tommy will get all the money from the fight. Seeing this, people also joined the conversation, figuring out what really happened.
As such, let’s take a look at some of the reactions.

Despite all the chatter regarding the bet, it does not look like Tommy received Jake’s share of the fight purse or the PPV share. As per reports, “The Problem Child” was going to receive 65% of the PPV revenue, while Tommy was set to get 35%. But fans can expect either Fury or Paul to address the issue in the near future. With a potential rematch on the horizon, the issue is not dead yet.
Jake Paul comments on his loss to Tommy Fury
Following his loss to Tommy Fury, a dejected Jake took to the mic. Whilst he was very pumped and 100% ready before the fight, his post-fight interview claimed otherwise. Stating that he fell ill twice during camp and that he had a hand injury, Jake’s response to losing was met with boos from the crowd.
As such, Jake was trolled and slammed for his pre-fight comments. Moreover, his long-time rival, KSI also took to Twitter to bash him. Elsewhere, fans drew comparisons between Jake and Logan’s reactions to losing, with both stating illness as their excuse for losing their fights.
With some claiming that the judge’s scorecards were wrong, further inspection of the punching stats shows that Fury was the clear winner of the contest. As such, it has left Paul with no choice but to recollect himself and trigger the rematch clause in order to get his revenge.
Moving forward, Jake will need to work on his distance management to deal with Tommy’s jabs. Moreover, he will need to forego his reliance on his heavy right hand and work on a new game plan for a hard-to-hit and harder-to-hurt Fury. Will Jake Paul be able to win the rematch? What changes will he make to his game plan? Only time will tell.
