Tyson Fury will face off against Deontay Wilder for the third time on July 24 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Tyson Fury had won the rematch and also captured the WBC heavyweight and the vacant Ring titles with a seventh-round TKO over Wilder.
Speaking of this fight the trilogy was not in the conversation because Bob Arum and Eddie Hearn were trying to book a fight between Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury. But Deontay Wilder snooped in the mix and exercised his right for the rematch clause. As a result, the commission sanctioned Wilder’s request and the trilogy fight became mandatory.

After yesterday’s pre-fight press conference, Tyson Fury answered some questions to the media and also made some bold statements about Deontay Wilder. The Gypsy King believes that ” People say stuff when they are under immense pressure and mentally unwell and under fragile state and you know that’s how I see Deontay Wilder at the moment.” Tyson Fury also responded to the cheating allegations saying I don’t care bring him in. I’m like Houdini. Like I said I’ve already got a V12 there and a 1600 valve there. I can sneak him in anywhere because they’re a part of me.”

How did the pre-fight conference between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder turn out?
This pre-fight press conference was completely different from what everybody had expected it to be. Unlike the previous pre-fight press conference where Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder were at each other’s faces talking trash and playing mind games, this press conference turned out to be very weird.
In this face-off, only Tyson Fury was responding to the questions whereas Deontay Wilder refused to answer any questions. ‘The Bronze Bomber‘ was wearing a headphone and was listening to music during the entire pre-fight press conference. As a result, the interviewer had to ask the questions to Deontay Wilder’s trainer Malik Scott.
At one point in time, ‘The Gypsy King‘ had offered to impersonate Deontay Wilder and answer his set of questions. Nonetheless, it seems that Deontay Wilder is not interested in any pre-fight chatter. As he just wants to speak with his actions when the two heavyweight rivals face off for the third time on July 24th.
