Moreover, the hype around the fight was at its peak. It broadcasted in several countries around the world. The viewing figures on HBO went over 1.7 million. 


Fury vs Sefari:

After three years of staying away from the ring in 2018, Fury was making his return against Sefer Seferi. The fans were highly interested in how the former champion is going to fight and prove his critics wrong. Fury dominated the fight and landed some big shots after which Sefer’s corner threw the towel in the 4th round as he was getting badly beaten. The television broadcasting by BT Sport of this fight reached 814,000 in the UK.

In 2018, Fury and Wilder went against each other for 12 rounds. The match was a spectacle for boxing fans as the Gypsy King and the Bronzebomber were two of the biggest superstars in boxers. However, this fight ended in a controversial draw after twelve rounds of action. The PPV buys were reaching great heights as in the UK they sold 420,000 and in the US it was 325,000.

The Fury and Schwarz bout took place on 15 June 2019. Fury won the fight in a second-round TKO and won the WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight title. The PPV buys of the bout in the United States are reportedly 325,000.

The rematch between Fury and Wilder is unarguably one of the biggest fights in boxing history. The fans were on their toes to finally get the clear winner between both heavyweights. Fury won the bout via TKO in the seventh round. The PPV records went off the charts and in the United States, the PPV buys were 1,200,000.

However, his trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder could end up becoming the biggest fight of his career in terms of PPV sales. Fury is going to earn a 60% PPV share from that fight.
