Two of the most famous superstars in boxing went toe to toe in a bout that fans have anticipated for ages. Undefeated fighters Ryan ‘King Ry‘ Garcia and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis locked horns at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The duo had been exchanging heated words over the years, building genuine animosity along the way. However, they settled it in the squared ring on April 22.
Davis was up on the scorecards in the 12-round scheduled fight. However, in round 7, the Baltimore resident caught Garcia with a body shot. The shot was so lethal that it made Garcia back up a few steps, soon making him take a knee. As time went by, the referee of the night made it to the end of his 10-count, thus announcing Davis as the winner by the end.
Despite the long-simmering bad blood that the two athletes have shared, they seemed pretty cordial during the post-fight press conference. Gervonta even claimed that Ryan was the best fighter he had ever fought in his career, while Ryan said he wouldn’t like to make any excuses and that he lost fair and square. However, the Mexican-American‘s recent allegations have seemed to stir some things up.
Ryan Garcia reveals he has found the alleged spy in his training camp
The 24-year-old recently posted a string of controversial stories on his Instagram. In a now-deleted story, Ryan shared, “Actually sad I had a mole in my camp like wtf that’s crazy but thank God it’s brought to light now.” This doesn’t surprise many fans, as Mayweather Promotions’ CEO, Leonard Ellerbe hinted about a potential spy in Ryan’s training camp.

Followed by this, Garcia posted another story, which hasn’t been taken down as of yet. He wrote, “Also didn’t mean to come off as an excuse or anything. I lost period. I’ll come back but I’m just shocked that part of my team crossed me someone close to me. Unbelievable. But it’s a testimony that you must be aware of everyone.”
Fans and critics have already started their attempts to try and identify the alleged spy’s identity. Ryan hasn’t confirmed it yet, but many believe this has something to do with the former Olympian, Erdenebat Tsendbaatar. Apparently, he was one of the many sparring partners that Ryan had brought in leading up to his fight with ‘Tank‘.

Erdenebat took to his social media while carrying a message for Ryan. The 26-year-old appears to be sitting in a vehicle while saying, “Hey King Ryan, In sparring I injured you with a body shot. Now you lost to Tank. I’m sorry, are you ok?”
Fans believe he might have leaked about Ryan’s compromised condition to the Davis camp. However, fans will probably have to wait until they attain concrete proof in hand. What do you make of the recent hoopla surrounding their highly-touted match? Let us know in the comments down below.
