In a clash that has four major boxing heavyweight titles on the line, two of the most dominant heavyweights of our time are set to go head-to-head in a battle on August 26. The undefeated Oleksandr Usyk is set to take on the WBA heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois. Names that resonate with power, skill, and determination are gearing up for a showdown that has fight fans around the globe on the edge of their seats.
Oleksandr Usyk is obviously walking into this fight as a clear favorite, as the Ukrainian fighter has yet to be defeated in his pro-boxing career and holds the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles. He was set to take on WBC champion Tyson Fury, and that fight could have given the world the undisputed heavyweight champion, but sadly enough, nothing materialized.

Nonetheless, Usyk has Daniel Dubois as his opponent, who has been in great form recently. The British boxer is known for his knockout power, as he is coming off four straight wins. He has a brilliant record of 19-1 in pro boxing, and this fight in Wroclaw, Poland, is going to be his biggest one in his career.
Oleksandr Usyk, on the other hand, will be getting inside the ring a year after defeating heavyweight veteran Anthony Joshua in August 2022. This was a rematch between the two, and in the first match-up between the two, Usyk won by unanimous decision to take the four major heavyweight titles from Joshua.
How much will Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois make from their boxing match?
Oleksandr Usyk, being the more popular fighter and the champion, is going to earn three times more from the fight than what his opponent Dubois will be earning. The purse bid for the two heavyweight contenders concluded with Usyk’s promoter, Alex Krassyuk, emerging as the winner, securing the bid at a total of $8 million. Adhering to the previously agreed-upon 75/25 revenue split, Oleksandr Usyk is set to receive $6 million, while Daniel Dubois will take home $2 million.

On top of that, there will be PPV sales, which the fighters will benefit from. The PPV for this fight is priced at about $25.40. This one is set to be an exciting event for the boxing fans out there, and apart from the title fight between the two heavyweights, the card is filled with promising fighters. The co-main event is set to be Denys Berinchyk vs. Anthony Yigit.
While Usyk is a clear favorite, Daniel Dubois has enough talent and power to impose serious threats on the champion. Do you think that the British can pull off an upset? Tell us in the comments!
