Cortez was looking to make her return after a unanimous decision win over Melissa Gatto back at UFC 274. Meanwhile, Amanda Ribas was aiming to jump back into the winning column after a split-decision loss against Katlyn Chookagian earlier this year.
There’s no clear information regarding Tracy Cortez’s decision to pull out of the fight. Cortez even made weight for the fight and did not show any indications of a horrible weight cut. Both the fighters made weight Friday morning, hitting the 125-mark without much of a hassle.

There’s no clarity on the extent of the medical issue from Cortez’s side. Moreoever, it’s not clear whether the event will be postponed to a later date. A replacement fighter for Amanda Ribas has not been named either.
