Calvin Kattar UFC Fight purses

In one of the most stacked divisions in UFC, Calvin Kattar has been able to make a huge impact in the last few years. The ranked number 5 featherweight has notable wins over Jeremy Stephens, Dan Ige, Shane Burgos, and Giga Chikadze.

In 2021, Calvin Katter suffered a devastating loss to Max Holloway and absorbed a record number of strikes in a UFC fight. However, he managed to bounce back from the loss with a dominant performance over Giga Chikadze, who was on his way to a title shot.

And it won’t be crazy to predict Calvin Kattar to get a title shot in the near future if he continues to impress the UFC matchmakers. In this article, we look at the fight purses Kattar has been able to earn throughout his UFC career.

UFC earnings of Calvin Kattar

The Boston Finisher made his UFC debut in 2017 against Andre Fili at UFC 214. He won the fight via decision and earned a fight purse of $26,500( $12,000 to show, $12,000 win bonus, $2,500 Reebok Sponsorship).

Kattar fought Shane Burgos, one of the toughest guys in the division, on his second UFC fight and won it via TKO. With a $50,000 fight of the night bonus, Kattar went home with an $81,500 fight purse at UFC 220.

Calvin Kattar suffered his first loss in UFC against Renato Carneiro by decision at UFC 223. He earned a modest $19,500 for his showing at UFC 223.

However, he bounced back with a TKO win over Chris Fishgold and earned a fight purse of $92,000 with a win bonus of $44,000.

Since then Calvin Kattar has fought top featherweights such as Zabit Magomedsharipov, Max Holloway, Dan Ige, and Giga Chikadze. Kattar lost to Zabit Magomedsharipov in a close fight in his first UFC main event.

For his decision to win over Dan Ige, The Boston Finisher earned a fight purse of $115,000 including $55,000 to show and a $55,000 win bonus. He also got a Reebok sponsorship worth $5,000.

Calvin Kattar fought the former UFC featherweight champion, Max Holloway, in another main event and suffered the biggest loss of his career. Kattar earned a fight purse of $115,000 ($60,000 to show, $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus, $5,000 fight week incentive pay) for his loss to Holloway.

In his last fight, Calvin Kattar fought Giga Chikadze in the main event of UFC Vegas 46. The fight lasted for five rounds and was full of action as both the featherweights went to war. However, Kattar dominated Chikadze for the majority of the fight and won another $50,000 fight of the night bonus. Overall, Kattar earned a fight purse of $171,000(including $60,000 to show, $60,000 to win, $6000 Reebok Sponsorship).

As per sources, Calvin Kattar has earned a total of $885,600 from his UFC fights. But, it’s safe to say that the best days of Kattar are ahead of him as he finds his way back to the top in the featherweight division.
