Muay Thai legend Liam Harrison is preparing for one more run at the elite level. “Hitman” has his next assignment locked in after months of teasing his plans on taking two fights before potentially calling it quits on his decorated 117-fight career. In fact, he recently posted to his Twitter account that he has his next fight.

Harrison has not been seen since his first-round loss to Nong-O Hama in late 2022, which followed two crushing first-round knockouts of his own. His most recent victory over Muangthai PK Saenchai was one of the most memorable of his career. He recovered from two early knockdowns to score three of his own in one of the craziest rounds in ONE Championship history.
The British knockout artist is one of the most beloved Muay Thai stars on the planet and, as such, speculation was rife as to who his next dance partner would be.
Liam Harrison’s next opponent revealed
Liam Harrison will don the gloves once again at ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga on Prime Video when he faces Japanese rising star Katsuki Kitano in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 7. ONE Championship dropped the announcement, which the 38-year-old reposted to his one million Instagram followers.
“The return Bangkok [7] June impact arena @onechampionship . CAN NOT WAIT 💀 #muaythai #onechampionship,” he wrote.

Kitano proved in his ONE debut that he could be the perfect dance partner for Harrison. The 27-year-old scored a first-round knockdown against Halil Kutukcu in October, before showing his grit by riding out a back-and-forth three-round battle and coming away the unanimous decision winner.
Fans have also been guessing who Harrison’s second opponent will be. While no announcement has been made just yet, he has been openly campaigning for a tussle with Thai war machine Seksan Or Kwanmuang in recent times while enjoying some banter with fellow-Brit and two-sport ONE Bantamweight World Champion Jonathan “The General” Haggerty.
