The Ferrari driver admitted that while the car felt good, it labored in the smoggy air behind other vehicles.
Very happy to renew two more years with @ScuderiaFerrari! Putting on this suit and representing this team is a great honour for me. Ferrari is fighting again at the front of the field and I’ll give it all to try and win both Championships! Vamos!💪🏼🏎

Ferrari has had a less desirable start in the 2023 season with Charles Leclerc receiving a grid penalty, but Sainz and his teammate has been actively working towards putting up a fight with the dominant teams.
Despite the team’s less-than-ideal situation, Carlos Sainz thinks there is still much work to be done and stated “We know where to develop the car, we just need time because from the weakness that we saw in Bahrain and we see here, obviously we cannot bring the upgrades as soon as tomorrow.” Sainz argues that Ferrari needs to increase their race pace if they want to compete with the best teams.
