Christian Horner is Oracle Red Bull Racing’s team principal and has 11 world titles under his belt, consisting of 5 World Constructors Championships and 6 World Drivers’ Championships.

He began his motorsport career as a driver but quickly transitioned to team management. In 1997, he founded the Arden International Racing team, which won several championships in Formula 3000 and GP2. Horner’s success with Arden piqued Red Bull Racing’s interest, and he was hired as team principal in 2005. Helmut Marko, Dietrich Mateschitz’s advisor at the time, was replaced by him.

The 2022 season also brought the English team principal the WCC for the first time since Mercedes started dominating in 2014.

Christian Horner’s salary

Christian Horner earns around $12 million annually, which essentially boils down to $1 million every month. Toto Wolff, the man in charge at Mercedes, earns double what Horner earns owing to the stake he has in the team as a part of the investments.
