Conor McGregor has another demand for UFC ahead of his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier. The former UFC champion now wants another title made for him besides “The McGregor Belt”.
UFC 264 featuring a trilogy between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier sold more than 20,000 tickets in seconds. The T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas was sold out in record time for this mega fight. Responding to that, Conor tweeted:
“Let’s do two belts actually UFC. Champ Champ always does two. We’ve got “The McGregor Belt” currently in creation, and now we’ve got the all new “RMF” belt. The Richest Motherf***r Belt.” This way we can put both the rubies and the emeralds to good use.”
Nate Diaz trolls Conor McGregor
Diaz and McGregor have been going back and forth on social media lately. And it did not take long for Nate Diaz to respond to Conor’s bizarre claims.
Nate Diaz trolled Conor McGregor for his recent loss to Dustin Poirier. Diaz indicated that Conor needs his confidence back going into the trilogy at UFC 264. Diaz tweeted:
“UFC go ahead and make this lil b***h a belt or 2 with rubies or whatever he wants on it. I think he really needs it. I need his confidence hi so he can do well so go ahead and make the belt if you would like too. And go out there and gettem champ..”
Nate Diaz makes his Octagon return against Leon Edwards at UFC 262. This is a bold move from Diaz that could result in a potential title shot in the welterweight division. However, Diaz might go ahead with the trilogy against Conor McGregor in case things don’t go in his favor at UFC 262.
The trilogy between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz will always be on the table. But, if Conor gets the win at UFC 264 he is likely to fight for the UFC lightweight title next further delaying the long-anticipated trilogy with Nate Diaz.
