Curtis Blaydes who is currently competing in the heavyweight division of UFC is one of the most destructive fighters on the roster. Since making his debut in 2016, Razor has won 11 out of 15 fights and has finished six of those fights via KO/TKO. Despite his stellar record in the UFC, he has not been able to contend for the belt as he suffered some losses that put a halt to his winning streak.

However, Blaydes has overcome his downfall and has risen to the #4 spot in the division on the back of a two-fight winning run. Curtis will now make his return inside the octagon to take on Tom Aspinall in the main event of UFC London. However, let’s shift the focus from his upcoming matchup and take a look at his career earnings in the UFC.

Curtis Blaydes went toe to toe against Francis Ngannou twice in the UFC and the heavyweight contender suffered the same fate on both occasions. The Predator brutally knocked out Blaydes in his debut as well as ended his four-fight winning streak in 2018.

For his debut fight against Francis Ngannou. Razor earned a total of $12,500($10,000 to show and $2,500 as sponsor payouts). Meanwhile, in the rematch, Blaydes collected $80,000.

Biggest Fight Purses of Curtis Blaydes

Curtis Blaydes went on a red hot streak in 2019 and 2020 as he won four fights in a row for the second time in his UFC career. Thereafter he was pitted against The Black Beast in a five-round main event bout in 2021.

In what was anticipated to be a tough matchup for Derrick Lewis, the Houston native produced a stunning punch to put Blaydes to sleep in the second round to make a remarkable comeback.

This was Curtis’ first loss after a span of two years and his brilliant run came to an end. Despite losing the fight in terrible fashion, Razon was the third highest earner from the event as he pocketed $110,000 for this five-round main event clash.

After suffering a brutal KO/TKO loss to Derrick Lewis, Curtis Blaydes stepped inside the octagon to take on Jairzinho Rozenstruik in an attempt for a quick turnaround. Razor exactly did what was expected out of him in this matchup as he completely outclassed Rozenstruik on the ground and earned a unanimous decision win.

This wasn’t the most exciting fight in terms of action but Blaydes got the job done and subsequently, he received a sum of $212,000 for this unanimous decision win over Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

Curtis Blaydes last fought against Chris Daukaus in a five-round main event bout of UFC Columbus that took place on March 2022. The 31-year-old heavyweight put on a dominant striking display and knocked out Daukaus in the first round to secure a big win.

For his brilliant performance at UFC Columbus, Curtis took home the biggest purse of the event as he earned a total of $312,000 which includes the win bonus and sponsorship payouts.

In total, Curtis Blaydes has reportedly earned $1,532,000 from his 15 fights in the UFC. However, it is to be noted that most of the above-mentioned fight purses are an estimate and not an exact amount because the promotion or commission does not release the official figures of every event.
