In what was an exciting five rounds of war, TJ Dillashaw and Cory Sandhagen put up a performance of a lifetime in what was a war inside the UFC Octagon at UFC Vegas 32.
After everything was said and done, it was TJ Dillashaw who emerged victorious over a credible opponent like Cory Sandhagen.
“Little sloppy on my end, but I got the win. But guess what, Dadd’s home bit***.” Dillashaw said in the post-fight Octagon interview.“It’s the same cut that opened up twice in the last camp, so it was vulnerable.”
“48-47, Sandhagen, 48-47, Dillashaw, 48-47, Dillashaw.” The judges’ scorecards said after the conclusion of UFC Vegas 32.
“I didn’t take any serious damage the whole time man!” Sandhagen said in the post-fight Octagon interview, visibly upset at the decision. While one can argue that Sandhagen won the fight, the case can be made against Dillashaw as well who made great use of his wrestling, was constantly pressuring Sanshagen throughout the course of the fight and had more clinch control time than his opponent.
