A look at some of the Upcoming stars

Here is a list of some of the upcoming stars who are all set to conquer the courts and establish their supremacy. Some of them had the best of the years, while some are eager to make their name in the upcoming year.

  • Daniil Medvedev: This player is number 1 on our list. The Russian has had a fabulous 2021 year where he won the US Open title by defeating Novak Djokovic in the finals. He then reached the finals of the Paris Masters and the Nitto ATP Finals, but the results were not in his favor. Apart from that, the world no. 2 player has the potential to be at the top in the upcoming years. Daniil Medvedev is also considered the top contender for the upcoming Australian Open.

“After McEnroe and Borg retired, people were saying tennis was over. After Sampras and Agassi retired, tennis was over.
Now, after the Big 3, they might say the same thing. We may not win 20 Majors, but it’s not going to be a shame.”

  • Alexander Zverev: The other player on the list has to be him. The rising star from Germany finally broke the record when he became only the second player since 2004 to win at least 6 titles in a single season. He won 2 ATP 1000 Masters titles this season. With the form he has shown this season, there is no doubt that he is an upcoming sensation.

  • Stefanos Tsitsipas: The rising star from Greece is also considered as a player to look out for in the future. Currently ranked no. 4 in the ATP, he won 2 titles this which include one ATP 1000 Masters, Monte Carlo. The Greek player has the potential to be at the top. Sadly, he had to withdraw from the ATP Finals due to an injury. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the upcoming years.

It will be interesting to see which player gets the better of himself and dominates the courts. Will it be someone among them, or will there be a new addition to this list.Till that time, we will have to wait and enjoy the superstars playing.
