De’Aaron Fox is a young and upcoming star in the league currently playing for the Sacramento Kings. Although he has been playing well from the very beginning, Fox has not been acknowledged as much as other young NBA stars due to the lack of success the Kings have shown over the years.

However, that has clearly changed this season. Sacramento has been playing very well and is currently the 3rd seed in a competitive Western Conference. There is no denying that De’Aaron Fox has been a significant reason behind their success.

As a result, fans should certainly want to know more about De’Aaron’s earnings with the Kings and his overall net worth. Let us take a closer look and find out.

De’Aaron Fox has a net worth of $20 million as of 2023

It turns out that Fox has a somewhat modest net worth when compared to the other stars in the NBA. As of 2023 De’Aaron is estimated to be worth roughly around $20 million. Not every NBA player is capable of amassing a massive fortune while playing in the league and Fox is still quite young. Therefore, we shouldn’t be too quick to judge him for not being as rich in contrast to his contemporaries in the league.

When Fox entered the league and was drafted by the Sacramento Kings, he was on a rookie contract that paid him around $24.5 million for a 4-year deal. That would mean he was making only around 6 million per year all the way until last season when he was offered a new contract by the Kings.

Now De’Aaron is on a 5 year $163 million deal and is locked in by Sacramento until 2026. Since he is only in the first year of his new deal, that is an explanation as to why his net worth hasn’t shot up yet. He also signed an endorsement deal and promoted Nike, which pays him around 2 million per year.

Fox is undoubtedly worth the money he has been given so far in his career. This season, he is averaging 25.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.2 assists while carrying his team to hold an excellent record. He may have spent a significant amount of his earnings on his lifestyle, health, and family members. Hence his net worth is only $20 million.

In any case, we expect that number to go up drastically over the next few years. Especially if he continues playing at this level and his team succeeds.
