It looks like the recent back and forth between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier has turned really ugly with Notorious claiming to call off the trilogy bout against the former interim champion. The former dual champion in a recent post on Twitter rained down on the Diamond for smearing his name after Poirier accused McGregor of never forwarding the donation money McGregor had promised to Poirier’s foundation, the Good Fight Foundation.

In what looked like an absolutely enraged McGregor, the Notorious explained why the donation has been delayed and claimed that Poirier’s foundation had no plans laid out for where the money was going to be used after its disposal. McGregor also claimed that Poirier’s team stopped responding when they were asked the details about the utilization of funds.
Meanwhile, Poirier claimed how McGregor’s team has been unresponsive since the fight ended back in January and feels that McGregor is running away from the promised amount towards the foundation.
My team does their due diligence to make sure every donation meets the mark. My generosity is known. You will pay with your brain for this attempt at smearing my name. Shooting ass shelling ass bitch. Little bitch kicks from a shell. Good luck when you’re caught. You’re fucked.

In a series of back and forth, the Notorious laid claim to how he intends on giving the money for the foundation. However, his team is yet to verify the whereabouts of where that money will go. The Notorious claimed that his team is following the same procedure they follow when making donations for other foundations.
Is Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor 3 canceled?
Conor McGregor stated clearly how he is not fighting Dustin Poirier on July 10th and is looking for a fight different right. “Good luck on your old contract, kid,” McGregor said.
Moments later, Poirier took to Twitter asking the fans whether or not the fight will take place. While nothing has been made official by the UFC, president Dana White has confirmed that both the fighters will be stepping inside the Octagon on 10 July at UFC 264.

Dustin Poirier stepped over a title opportunity to fight Conor McGregor for the UFC’s lightweight champion at UFC 264. Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira are set to fight for the title, and needless to say, Poirier vs Conor was scheduled to be a potential #1 fight for the UFC’s lightweight championship.
