Donald Cerrone’s UFC Earnings: How Much Money Cowboy Has Earned in UFC?Donald Cerrone is one of the most well-known names in the sports of MMA. Since his UFC debut back in 2011, Donald Cerrone has been putting on entertaining fights for the fans.

With over 50 MMA fights, Donald Cerrone owns some incredible records including the most number of performance of the night and fight of the night bonuses. Although he could not win the prestigious UFC title in his long career, Cowboy has been a part of some historic fights such as the fight against Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, Rafael Dos Anjos, and so on.

But, how much Donald Cerrone has made throughout his long and exciting UFC career?

Cerrone has fought the biggest star in the history of UFC, Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 246. Now, going into the fight it was believed that Cerrone would earn the biggest fight purse of his career thanks to the Conor McGregor fight.

Unfortunately, the reality was far from the expectation. Cerrone did not earn any PPA points for UFC 246 that sold about 1 million PPVs.

After his loss to Conor McGregor, Cerrone replied to a fan’s comment and confessed that he did not make any money from the PPV sales. Cerrone stated:

“Hahahahah 7-10 million. I didn’t get PPV money. What the world thinks and what really happens is so different. I made flat money.”

Donald Cerrone has made a fortune out of competing inside the UFC octagon

As per the reports, for his fight against Conor, Cowboy earned a fight purse of $220,000 (including a $20,000 fight week incentive)

Cerrone also made the same amount of money for his fight against Anthony Pettis and Niko Price with $200,000 of show money.

Prior to the McGregor fight, Donald Cerrone used to earn show money of $175,000. 

For his title fight against the former lightweight champion, Rafael Dos Anjos, Donald Cerrone $109,000 including $30,000 for Reebok Sponsorship.

For his iconic fight against Nate Diaz, Donald Cerrone earned a fight purse of $105,000.

The approximate total earning of Donald Cerrone throughout his UFC career is $6,804,800. It needs to be considered that Cerrone fights more frequently than any other fight in the UFC roster and he has been in the business for over a decade.

It should also be mentioned that the numbers mentioned above are not %100 accurate but an estimation based on Cerrone’s past UFC fights.
