League of Legends : The reigning Champions
League of Legends took home the title last year after garnering the most votes. Riot Games’ MOBA is nominated again for the second year in a row. Which gives it a chance to reach the top of the Esports Awards list.
League of Legends, is one of the most popular video games in the world right now. Riot created and distributed the The Multiplayer On Battle Arena (MOBA) computer game . It was inspired by Defense of the Ancients, a custom map for Warcraft III which was first released in 2009.
League of Legends has grown to become one of the most well-known gaming brands in the business. It has over 115 million monthly players (as of 2021).
The Dominance of Riot Games
After LOL, Valorant is Riot’s second property on the Esports Awards 2021 candidate list. It is a free-to-play first-person shooter game published in 2020.

Valorant fans will be hoping for their favorite game to win the “best” title for the second time in a row. As it has made it to the final list. Valorant is presently one of the most popular FPS games in the video game business, with over 14 million monthly players worldwide.
The inclusion of hugely popular titles this year will make it thrilling to watch. The Riot Games will face stiffer competition this year.
